at the scenic Sunrise Mountain Village and with easy walk on access to
Killington’s magnificent ski slopes, this deluxe 5 bedroom home with 3 full
baths is the perfect location any season of the year. With lovely mountain views
in every direction this is the ideal place for friends or families to get away
for a cozy winter vacation or a spring, summer or autumn excursion to the lovely
Green Mountains
of Vermont.
In addition to its scenic location, this house has a large comfortable living
room with brick fireplace, and wood is provided. The living room has a brand new
surround sound entertainment system with 36” TV, VCR, DVD & CD player, and there
is also a den with a 27” TV and VCR, and a game room. And for those who need to
stay in touch, there is a DSL modem for e-mail retrieval and internet access.
In winter, you need to walk only about 50 yards in order to access Killington’s
6 mountains with 200 slopes and trails. When skiing is done you can relax in
Sunrise’s luxurious spa with swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, whirlpool, steam
room, and of course work-out room if you still have the energy. Skates are
available for ice skating or snow shoes for taking a walk on one of the many
snow covered walking trails. Once you’ve showered, you can have a drink and dine
at Max’s Restaurant right there at the health club or take a ride to any of the
many various
restaurants in the area. From May through September there is also a
heated outdoor pool and hot tub as well as 3 tennis courts. Of course
Killington is noted for great outdoor
fun all seasons of the year. In summer the ski area has many types of summer
activity including a children’s Adventure Center. There are water slides, alpine
slides, scenic chair lift rides, in-line skating, a skateboard park, and
miniature golf, as well as
mountain biking and hiking trails. Of course there
are also 36 holes of golf, horseback riding, fly fishing, as well as many local
lakes.
And last but not least are the many scenic Vermont towns and attractions which
are just a short distance away such as Woodstock, Quechee, Ludlow, Weston, and
Rutland which are there to capture your imagination and provide all kinds of
shops and antiques if you so desire.
